Wind Ensemble
Overview
Our Wind Ensemble offers students of intermediate/advanced levels the opportunity to improve their musical skills and technique while having fun and making new friends. Led by experienced and dedicated faculty, students will receive daily 90-minute instrument workshops and band rehearsals conducted by Associate Director of Bands, Dr. Adam Kehl.
Based on the placement video, students may also be selected to perform in our Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dr. Joseph Stepec. Selected students would not have to pay an additional tuition fee for orchestra.
At the end of the session, campers will showcase their hard work and newly acquired skills at two concerts for family and friends. The first performance is a chamber ensemble concert featuring every instrument group (e.g. flute, saxophone, percussion, etc). On the last day, the full Wind Ensemble will perform alongside our other large ensembles like Symphony Orchestra. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to take your music to the next level and have a summer to remember! Sign up for our summer band camp today!
Interested in jazz? Sign up for our Jazz Intensive as well! Jazz rehearsals occur before Wind Ensemble rehearsals.
