Overview
PMI is pleased to announce the Summer Jazz Intensive! The director of HYS Jazz, Dean Taba, along with notable session musicians and local legends provide the highest quality jazz education. Special mainland guests include Abe Lagrimas Jr. Steve Treseler.
No jazz experience required! Students will be placed in classes based on level of experience and instrumentation needs.
Includes PMI+ for free! All students are encouraged and expected to participate in these online masterclasses. Culminating performances will be featured in the PMI E-Festival on July 31st. Limited spots available due to safety protocols.
Requirements
Eligible instruments: saxophones, trumpet, trombone, piano, guitar, bass, drum set.
Students entering 8th grade and up with at least 2 years of experience on their instrument.
NO JAZZ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
