Alternatively, for families who are making their PMI visit into a Hawaiian vacation, the beautiful Alohilani Resort has generously offered special, discounted rates on rooms from July 5-18. Students staying with their families will be responsible for their own transportation to/from PMI every day.

Dormitory Housing
For students ages 13-19 in the Summer Jazz Intensive, Solo & String Quartet, or Orchestral Learning Alliance programs.
HYS uses the Hale Aloha dormitories, on the campus of UH-Manoa.

Chaperones and ground transportation (to/from official program activities) will be provided by HYS. Neighbor Island and rural O’ahu students are eligible for a Kama’aina discount; please inquire for the discount code. We are unable to provide dormitory lodging for adult family members, or any child not enrolled in PMI.

Meals
All dormitory residents are required to participate in the meal plan at Hale Aloha Café. Meals can be used at any time during the duration of your stay.
Dormitory residents will be given meal cards that allow up to 3 swipes Monday-Friday and up to 2 swipes Saturday-Sunday.

Dormitory Housing is available to students ages 13-19 in the SJI, SSQ, and OLA programs.
