Concerts

Pacific Music Institute is proud to offer some concerts free and unticketed, allowing us to spread the joy of music to our community, while others are ticketed in order to support our non-profit summer music camp. Funds raised through ticket sales are impactful in helping us continue to nurture young musicians through our summer intensive programs.

Mahalo for your support, and we hope to see you at our PMI 2027 concert series!

PMI 2026 Faculty & Student Concert Schedule

PMI 2026 Community Concerts

On Thursday, July 9, our student chamber music ensembles played free concerts at different venues in Oʻahu, including various senior residences and a public concert at Downtown Art Center.

Earlier during the week of PMI 2026, our National Orchestral Institute + Festival Teaching Fellows joined local faculty member Ellen Breakfield-Glick and Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra musician Jamie Sanborn in playing a free concert for veterans at the VA Community Living Center!

Our OLA Fellows also performed a series of free woodwind trio concerts and demonstrations across Hawaiʻi Island and Oʻahu. They showcased the versatility and artistry of woodwind chamber music through engaging community performances. Beyond the music, the fellows connected directly with aspiring musicians and families of all ages, concluding each session with an informal conversation covering music education, collegiate studies, and career pathways in the arts.
